How To Easily Clean White Plastic Chairs?

If you have plastic white chairs then you know how durable they are but, of course, there is one downfall – they get dirty super quickly, and cleaning them can get pretty challenging especially when you have no idea what to use and how to perform the cleaning.

Usually, people take their plastic white chairs outdoors – either on their balcony or in their back yard. This means that the chairs are exposed to sun damage, bad weather, rain, etc. which can easily damage the appearance. Thankfully, there is a super easy and affordable way to deep clean your chairs and restore them – and I will teach you exactly how to do it!

How To Easily Clean Your White Plastic Chairs?

There are a few different cleaning methods that you can use – and the best part is that all of these methods are super easy and cheap. You won’t need any special or expensive cleaning detergents – just a couple of household ingredients you already have in your home!

– Use Bleach

The first cleaning method I will share with you involves bleach. It’s super effective, however, if you don’t enjoy using bleach and you want a more natural alternative – skip to the next method!

You will need 1/4 cup of bleach, a big bucket, hot water, and a scrub brush. Of course, you will also have to prepare rubber gloves so you can protect your skin when using the bleach.

Start off by filling your bucket with hot water and add the bleach in there. Put on your gloves, dip the scrub brush in the mixture and start scrubbing the chairs.

Then let the bleach sit on the chairs for a few minutes before you rinse them with a hose. Finally, either dry the chairs with a cloth or let them air-dry in the sun!

– Use Vinegar

Next on my list is using vinegar. It’s still an effective way to clean your white plastic chairs and it’s more natural in comparison to the bleach.

Again, you will need to fill a bucket with hot water then add 1/4 cup of white vinegar. Dip a scrub brush in the mixture and start scrubbing the chairs.

– Use Laundry Detergent

This is the final cleaning method I have for you. You need to fill a bucket with hot water then add a tablespoon of laundry detergent.

Again, use a scrub brush, dip it in the mixture and clean the chairs.

What To Do When The Stains Are Too Stubborn?

If you tried both cleaning methods and you still cannot seem to fully clean the chairs then do the following!

Fill a bucket with hot water then add 3/4 cup of bleach and 2 tablespoons of liquid dish soap. Again, put on your rubber gloves, dip a sponge in the mixture and start scrubbing. Finally, rinse everything.
